International
The POWERtalk Board of Directors is the governing
body. Its members are elected at the biennial convention held in July. The International President for 2015-17 is Christine
Endo from the USA. NER boasts one past international President, Gerry Lightfoot, who served in 1990-91.
THE OFFICIAL COLOURS OF POWERtalk ARE BLUE (FOR STEADFASTNESS OF PURPOSE) AND GOLD (FOR QUALITY).
Region
The third level embraces all clubs of those Councils within
its boundaries, as well as several clubs-at-large. This level holds a conference each year in late May. THE OFFICIAL BACKGROUND
COLOUR FOR ALL REGION JEWELRY IS RED.
Council
The second level (optional); membership consists of clubs/chapters
assigned within a geographic area. Councils meet 2-4 times per year as their own bylaws dictate. THE OFFICIAL BACKGROUND
COLOUR FOR ALL COUNCIL JEWELRY IS GREEN.
Club/Chapter
The individual chapter is the basic component of the entire structure. THE OFFICIAL
BACKGROUND COLOUR FOR ALL CLUB JEWELRY IS WHITE.
Clubs/chapters are composed of up to 30 active voting members. Membership is limited to 30 in order to offer maximum
opportunity for individual participation. You will find clubs in over 20 countries worldwide, including almost every American
state and Canadian province. Guests are welcomed any time, and may attend three
meetings free of charge in order to "check us out".
